U.S. warships & helicopters surround hijacked ship loaded with weapons

MOGADISHU, Somalia - The weapons-loaded ship hijacked by pirates off the coast of Somalia on Friday is now surrounded by U.S. warships and helicopters to prevent the arms from falling “into the wrong hands,” an American Navy spokesman said Monday.
The pirates who seized the ship are demanding a $20 million ransom and U.S. officials fear the armaments onboard the Ukrainian vessel may end up in the hands of al-Qaida insurgents.

Their origin and destination should be held in consideration first. If the intention is to help our enemies, then the weapons should be confiscated and the crew held as POW’s or terrorist’s.They could also be asked to surrender the weapons and pay 20 million not to blown out of the water.

Short and simple. We DO NOT negotiate with terrorists. Do what ever it takes to keep the weapons out of the bad guys hands.
