BAE’s JLTV
This was one of the most hidden vehicles shown at AUSA. The lighting was tough because it was purposefully placed in a dark area to prevent spying. This is BAE’s entry into the JLTV and they feel like they have a good shot at winning the DoD contract. It is built with safety and comfort in mind and leverages commercial available parts for logistic concerns and technology advancements such as the long lasting and powerful LED lights. It incorporates the latest in lightweight armor, a V-shaped hull design and lessons learned from field reports of the MRAP program.
