Daniel Defense Law Enforcement Package
In the latter part of 2011, Daniel Defense released packages designed specifically for the law enforcement community. The Law Enforcement packages start with all the features that make the Daniel Defense M4 an industry benchmark- MilSpec forged upper and lower, 4150 steel barrel with chrome-lined bore and chamber, MP tested bolt, staked gas key, and more!
One such package is the Designated Marksman Package (DMP). The DMP is a multi-purpose platform that can be used for close quarters applications as well as precision long-range target engagement. It is also outstanding for target ID, surveillance, perimeter security, and sniper over watch applications.
The DMP features a continuous rifle-length free float MFRTM rail with front flip up sight and a 18” 1:7” twist cold hammer forged S2WTM-profile barrel with mid- length gas system and pinned low-profile gas block. This package also includes a Bushnell Elite Tactical 2.5—16×42 Mil Dot Scope and rings, and a Bobro Engineering QD Bipod.

Nice gun! oh VTGunner if a Bushnell elite is on a barret 50 cal. as there budget package for those who want a good scope but do not want to pay 2 to 3k for just the scope. Bushnell scopes are by no means a nightforce or US Optics but they are very good for the value. Hell barrett thinks so and that 50 cal. is not that light of a recoil, it has some thump to it. Just saying…
