SPYDERCO’s Jumpmaster
Spyderco’s latest cutting edge is the Jumpmaster, featuring a new hollow-ground H-1 blade that will never rust. It was conceived during a conversation between the knife maker and a major in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. The soldiers sought a better knife for their jumpmasters. The 4-1/4-inch serrated cutting edge nearly takes up the 4-1/2-inch blade length. The handle of the fixed blade is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) that is bi-directionally textured for a secure grip. A curved, injection molded sheath is designed to carry against the body or calf without flaring and nylon straps offer many options in positioning the knife in your kit.
