If you haven’t heard yet, Jim Cirillo has left us. Legendary lawman, gunfighter, firearms instructor, father, husband, hunter and inventor, Jim was the real deal. Unafraid to admit the fear he felt, he was one of few real shooters who would talk of his deadly force encounters. This lack of bravado, along with his candor, combined with his continued studies into the best way to shoot, alternative sighting methods, improved projectiles and Visible Sights, made him real.
Jim Cirillo was dedicated to getting the good guys home at the end of the day. He was eminently approachable and was widely loved by students in the federal system and outside.
