More punch, longer range, flatter shooting— in a Tactical AR-15 package!

Armed conflict is often the genesis of much in the way of technology and development, particularly in the area of weaponry, and certainly the War on Terror has been no exception. Strengths and weaknesses in gear and tactics are inevitably brought to the forefront under the fire of combat, and the result is improvisation, adaptation and design improvements.

sabre1.jpgEarly on, we began receiving complaints from our troops regarding the effectiveness of the M16 in its various configurations as an effective manstopper. To a large extent, that problem was solved for some Special Forces units by the move to a 77-grain non-expanding ballistic hollow point round, but that doesn’t mean it’s as good as it gets.
