An array of new products on the cutting edge

newsharp.jpg
As multi-tools go, Spyderco’s ByrdRench doesn’t resemble any other pocket tool on the market. Unlike standard multi-tool fare, it has a full-sized knife blade that opens/closes one-handed and locks like a real pocketknife. It comes with a pocket clip and nylon sheath. Weighs 7.92 ounces, 4.5 inches closed, knife cutting edge 2.5 inches. The housing is two stainless halves that join, creating slip joint pliers on one end and an adjustable 9/16 crescent wrench on the opposite. There are four screwdriver bits and other handy tools. Picture shown is a Plainedge Prototype. Production model only available in ComboEdge. MSRP: $99.95. www.spyderco.com
