RAT Cutlery’s New RC-3: Combat RAT

With input from Marines in battle, consummate adventurers Jeff Randall & Mike Perrin have created a tough, functional and affordable gem!

Recently, I received one of RAT Cutlery’s brand new RC-3 knives, along with its very functional and innovative sheath system. RAT Cutlery is owned by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin and has no connection with Ontario Knives. That being said, Ontario Knives is continuing to make the original knives Jeff designed for them.

rat2.jpgJeff’s goal has always been to design no-frills knives that the average person, soldier or police officer could afford. As most readers probably know, he and Mike also run a company called Randall’s Adventure Training that specializes in survival courses in the Amazon jungle. The experiences on these trips have helped in the design of some very tough, functional and affordable knives, of which the RC-3 can proudly take its place.
