Bob Dozier’s newest custom blade is combat ready, and the production version with the same name won’t shy away from a fight either!

Bob Dozier has long had my vote for being one of the top designers of custom hunting knives in the country. If my job didn’t require me to be constantly evaluating new products on game whenever the chance presents itself, I would probably happily carry a Dozier for the rest of my hunting days. While he isn’t quite as well known for his battle blades, Bob has an equally good eye for combat knife design. A good example of this is the new model that Bob, tongue in cheek, calls the “Bulldozier.”

kabar.jpgThe Bulldozier is one of those knives that tends to look larger than it actually is. Its D-2 blade is 6-1/2 inches long, and .200-inch thick with an overall length of 12-3/16 inches. The man-size black Micarta handle offers a single finger groove behind a self-guard hilt. It weighs 15 ounces and has a catalog price of $395.
