SHOT Show 2017: Industry Day at the Range with Aaron Barruga

Guerrilla Approach founder, Special Forces veteran, and all-around badass Aaron Barruga takes in Industry Day at the Range before SHOT Show 2017.

SHOT Show 2017 officially opened its doors today, but those in the know got the party started yesterday with the 10th annual Industry Day at the Range at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club in Boulder City, Nevada. Here’s a brief rundown: Industry Day at the Range is a massive event where industry manufacturers, dealers, buyers, retailers and members of the media get together for a day on the range to unveil and test the hottest, latest new products that are coming out. If you’re looking for the ultimate hands-on experience, this is it. And with over 200 exhibitors, including Smith & Wesson, Springfield Armory, Glock, Colt, and many more, there sure was a lot to experience.

With that in mind, we sent the man, the myth, the legend, Aaron Barruga down to check it all out. Aaron served in the U.S. Army Special Forces until 2013 and deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and the Pacific Theater of Operations. He’s the founder of Guerrilla Approach, a California-based company that teaches vehicle tactics and active shooter interdiction classes to military and law enforcement students. In other words, he’s a certified badass and he knows what he’s talking about.

Check out the video of Aaron’s day at the range above. Stay tuned for more SHOT Show 2017 coverage!
