You’ve taken the course, met the qualification requirements and purchased the hardware. Your carry permit is in your wallet and you’re carrying your gun. Finally, you can relax a little, right? Actually, the answer is no. When we elect to carry, we have taken on a serious responsibility. Our subsequent actions will certainly have a bearing on how we conduct ourselves and can have serious consequences for those around us.
The general population tends to go about their daily lives in a very complacent state of mind with regard to personal safety. Crime, after all, is something that happens to other people. We, however, understand that there are always predators looking for prey. By maintaining a defensive mindset in our daily lives, we are doing everything we can to avoid finding ourselves in a bad situation. Are we paranoid? No, we are aware.
