Vortex Introduces Versatile Red Dot Scope
Vortex’s all-new StrikeFire red-dot scope is built on a rugged, nitrogen-purged 30mm aluminum tube with a recoil rating achieved by withstanding 1,000 rounds fired from a .375 H&H Magnum.
The StrikeFire switches quickly between red and green dots, which can be adjusted for intensity. This scope is parallax-free past 50 yards, and provides unlimited eye relief for quick target acquisition and repeatable accuracy at all ranges.
The lenses are fully multi-coated and protected by flip-up lens caps. For more information, visit www.vortexoptics.com.
Horus Vision Strengthens Ultra Tough Falcon
The 5-20×50 Ultra Long Range riflescope from Horus Vision is built from a solid steel tube for increased strength and durability in the field. The Falcon’s 30mm tube is strong enough to withstand 80 in-pounds of tightening pressure.
Horus also enlarged the Falcon’s objective lens from 46 to 50mm, and increased the speed on the zoom’s gears. The scope is 16 inches long and weighs 32.2 ounces. Its elevation and windage adjustments are 20 mils, and each click is 0.1 mil.
The scope is finished in non-reflective black matte. For more information, visit www.horusvision.com.
Aimpoint Debuts Micro T-1 and CompM4
New this year from Aimpoint is the Micro T-1 and CompM4 sights, both of which are already soldier-tested and combat-proven.
The Micro T-1 is Aimpoint’s smallest sight, which makes its weight negligible when mounted atop rifles, carbines, shotguns, handguns or submachine guns. The CompM4 is the latest version of the US Army’s M68 CCO (Close-Combat Optic). It offers more than eight years of continuous use from one AA battery.
An added bonus of the Micro T-1 is that its light weight, 4 ounces, allows it to piggyback atop larger scopes, as well as night-vision or thermal-imaging optics. For more information, visit www.aimpoint.com.
