If there is one thing that red dot optics excel at it is close quarters confrontation. However, in the same way, they are not as adept at long range scenarios. Sure, they still work, but like anything, it is far more advantageous to bring the target a little closer. For that reason, adding a magnifier is the best way to easily switch between close quarters and distance combat. The Primary Arms SLx MFS magnifier adds 3x magnification to any red dot optic, providing a distance solution as a result.
Primary Arms SLx MFS 3x Magnifier
Designed to work with any red dot, the MFS is part of Primary Arms’ SLx optics line. In an effort to keep the cost down, the MFS does not include a magnifier mount. However, it is compatible with most popular 2-screw mounts. For those that do not already own a mount, Primary Arms offers a Flip-to-Side mount with absolute or lower 1/3rd height.
The durable construction of the MFS protects it against repeated shocks and impacts of daily use. In addition, the enhanced glass quality and wide field-of-view (40.5 feet at 100 yards) ensure a clear view of the target. Likewise, the 2.4-inch eye relief provides comfortable use. The 3x magnification also ensures enhanced medium to long-range accuracy. With a weight of only 8.6 ounces, the MFS does not add undue weight to your rifle platform.
“With the success of our SLx 1x MicroPrism and MD-25 Red Dot, we wanted to expand our catalog with a supplemental magnifier that helps users get the most from their CQB optics,” says Stephen Morgan, Director of Product Marketing at Primary Arms Optics. “The SLx 3x MFS improves on our past magnifier designs with all-new materials and engineering, making it easier to spot and engage your targets at mid- to long-range. When paired with our new FTSM-B mount, it makes for a remarkably versatile optics combo, expanding the capability of any rifle setup.”
The Primary Arms SLx MFS 3x Magnifier is available now with an MSRP of $129.99. For more info, please visit PrimaryArms.com.
