“We hope Alaska’s military families enjoy free admission to the UA Museum of the North,” said Wells Fargo northern Alaska district manager Vicki Kennebec. A $25,000 gift from Wells Fargo to the museum will cover the admission costs. The museum changes displays on a regular basis and a second or third trip later in the year will bring new exhibits to view making this a real deal for military personnel and their families.
“Alaska is home to two large military installations, and military members play an important role in our community,” said UA Museum of the North director Aldona Jonaitis in the release. “We are proud to partner with Wells Fargo to say ‘thank you’ to the large military populations in our region.”
