Announced during the recently concluded Dubai Airshow 2013, the $5.8 billion performance-based logistics contract requires the company to provide full logistics and MRO services, to ensure operational readiness of all UAE military aircraft.
AMMROC CEO Fahed Ghareeb Al Shamesi said the company has demonstrated progress working with the UAE armed forces, shareholders and partners, to integrate global best practices and processes in the last three years.
”Signing this contract shows the trust that our team has built on current platforms, allows us to further grow our workforce of UAE Nationals, and, most importantly, to support the readiness and strength of the air force for the benefit of the UAE,” Al Shamesi said. “The services provided under the contract are also expected to guarantee enhanced safety and self-reliance.”
