Dave Sevigny Takes Home 1st at 2016 USPSA Florida Open

Gaston Glock Style team member Dave Sevigny had quite a showing to win at the 17th Annual USPSA Florida Open.

Top finishes on all 11 stages earned Sevigny the Production division win using his FN FNS-9L by a 68-point margin over the second place finisher.

The Production division was hotly contested by top-ranked Production competitors and was the largest iron sight division among the 400-plus participants.

The prestigious pistol tournament was held Feb.17-21 at Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, Fla. Each year the Florida Open is host to shooters from the United States and around the globe.

The 2016 win marks Sevigny’s eighth all-time victory at the Florida Open.

“Dave opened the season with a dominating win. On behalf of everyone at Gaston Glock Style, we applaud his outstanding performance at the Florida Open,” Gaston CEO Beate Arnold said in a statement.

The next major match for the Sevigny Performance team will be the USPSA Area 2 Championship where Sevigny will look to defend his 2015 Championship.
