Louisiana LEO’s, including the Shreveport and Bossier City Police Departments and the Caddo, Bossier, and Webster Parish Sheriff’s Offices, are holding a blood drive to support local couple Jean and Harmon Drew of Minden, Louisiana.
The Drews, who have more than 30 years experience in teaching law enforcement officers, annual publish the “True Blue Drew Book,” a trusted resource for Louisiana law enforcement officers.
Jean Drew fell ill in 2008 and underwent emergency abdominal surgery that saved her life. As a result, she began suffering from severe and debilitating anemia.
