Wives Behind the Badge, a charity organization that provides support and resources to law enforcement families, is offering financial assistance to natural or adopted children of police through the 2014 Law Enforcement Children’s Scholarship Program.
Two separate scholarships are currently available, one for $1,000 and one for $500. The applicant is required to be a a child of a law enforcement officer (full-time active service, retired, or killed in the line of duty), and enrolled at or accepted to a four-year college/university or community college.
The deadline to apply is April 15. The winners will be announced on May 15.
