Sig Sauer is committing a portion of sales from the company’s new SB15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace to HAVA. Designed by a veteran for a disabled colleague, the SB15 allows those with reduced upper body strength to enjoy shooting pistol versions of the AR-15 platform. To date, this program has far exceeded expectations and continues to grow.
Launched in 2007 by a group of shooting sports industry executives, HAVA assists disabled combat veterans return to an active life by helping them reconnect with the outdoor activities they enjoyed before their injuries.
As a sustaining sponsor, SIG SAUER will provide firearms for HAVA range events and hunts, as well as certificates for fundraising raffles. SIG SAUER staff will be available to help out during range days. When available, SIG SAUER shooting team captain Max Michel, a longtime volunteer, will make appearances to help coach HAVA participants.
