“These guys are out there in the trenches every day, in what I think is a vile world,” DWI coordinator Tom Giruzzi said. “Reward them for the job they do day-in, day-out not only for keeping our roads safe, but our community.
According to WKTV, the number of driving while intoxicated arrests in Oneida County has decreased steadily over the years. In 2000, there were roughly 1,000 DWI arrests in Oneida County. In 2013, there were around 700 arrests.
