Morgan used the Bushnell Elite Tactical XRS 4.5-30x 50mm riflescope to connect with targets spread across the windblown plains of central Colorado.
With the mil-based G2 reticle, co-developed by Team Captain George Gardner and Bushnell, and a huge range of magnification available, Morgan relied on his scope’s precise adjustments and reticle to successfully engage targets from 200 to 1,200 meters.
“It was a fun, but still a tough match for experienced shooters,” Morgan said. “… It was a target rich environment and a very smooth flowing match.”
The Sniper’s Hide Cup drew more than 125 competitors from across the nation, giving shooters an opportunity to test their skills and equipment in a variety of situations while competing for one of the most highly sought after trophies in the shooting industry. Over the course of the three-day match, competitors completed five segments, each consisting of four stages, for a total of 20 challenging courses of fire.
