Changes to MilGaming portal, which serves as a gateway for soldiers to access the Games for Training program, are meant to make the experience more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
“The improvements are part of a regular update cycle that helps the Games for Training program stay relevant and add new technological features,” said Marco Conners, deputy of TCM-Gaming.
MilGaming is managed by the Training and Doctrine Command Capability Manager-Gaming, and it offers soldiers software downloads, apps, news, training events, technical support and training scenarios. It also provides access to Virtual Battlespace 2, or VBS2, which is a first-person shooter video game. VBS3, an updated version of the game featuring superior graphics and a bigger landscape, is due for release soon.
