The WOOX Merica Precision Chassis and Stock
Constructed of AA 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum with a hard anodized finish, the Merica sports beautiful American walnut furniture. The ambidextrous grip features aggressive texturing for enhanced control of the rifle while firing, whether wet or dry. Additionally, the fore-end features three elongated vents and four slot M-LOK accessory panels at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. Likewise, the stock includes a QD sling loop.
With an overall length of 30.5 inches, the Merica weighs a total of 4.2 pounds, without the action or barrel. In addition, the LOP (Length of Pull) is adjustable from 13.25 – 14 inches utilizing the included quarter-inch spacers. Correspondingly, a microcell butt pad helps keep the Merica stock comfortable while shooting.
Offering a floating barrel design with a maximum clearance of 1.17 inches, the Merica provides drop-in installation. According to the company, there is no need for pillars or extra bedding. Likewise, the company also states that no gunsmithing is required.
