Blackwater Worldwide did not obtain a new private security contract for  operations in Iraq and their security license will not be renewed
, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior and U.S. embassy officials announced today.  This decision follows a November U.S. and Iraq agreement that allows the Iraqi government to decide which security firms are to operate in the country.  Blackwater roughly employs 1,000 personnel in Iraq, all of whom may be forced out of the country in the very near future.
