UNITED NATIONS — The U.S. drafted a U.N. Security Council resolution Wednesday that seeks international authorization to hunt Somali pirates. This resolution marks one of the Bush administration’s last major foreign policy initiatives and asks that U.N. forces be allowed to search for pirates on land with the cooperation of Somalia’s U.N.-backed goverment.
