The Fall ’12 Carhartt collection for men is inspiring for the “in-between-seasons” wardrobe. This season, it’s smart to invest in a few keys pieces that will go the distance and last you through the year. Made with rich colors and earthy tones, Carhartt’s F’12 is the perfect apparel for those milder Indian summer days or chilly autumn nights. Below are four central, new pieces for Fall 2012:
QuickDuck: exclusive fabric to Carhartt, which is a 60% cotton/40% polyester canvas with DWR finish. The collection features three new QuickDuck styles that include QuickDuck Woodward Active Jac, QuickDuck Woodward Traditional Jacket and the QuickDuck Woodward Vest.
Weathered Duck bottoms: Inspired by a truck farmer, the Weathered Duck is 12-ounce, 100% cotton ring-spun washed duck. The line includes the Dungaree, Double-Front Dungaree and 5-Pocket Pant.
Kalkaska Down: Purpose-built for everyone on the job north of 50◦ latitude and south of 20◦ Fahrenheit. Carhartt’s new Kalkaska down products are sure to be one of the hottest new fashions for fall. You don’t worry about freezing with this parka’s 550-fill goose down insulation. The Kalkaska Down line includes an Active Jac, Traditional Jacket, vest and Snorkel Parka.
Wool Outerwear: Two new wool styles are added to the line; a Wool Active Jac and a Wool Chore Coat. Both are 14 ounce with an 80/20 percent mix of wool and nylon fabric.
