The Reversible Tactical Modular Assault Panel (RTMAP) is designed for US Army personnel who are conflicted by needing to have 2 sets of gear
1 set of UCP/ACU for training and the other in Multicam for operations in OEF-Afghanistan. The RTMAP reverses from Multicam to UCP/ACU, allowing the user to have one baseline rig for all current training and operational environments. RTMAP attaches to Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV) without interfering with the IOTV’s quick disconnect feature, allowing the wearer to have his fighting load fully integrated with the IOTV.
RTMAP detaches quickly, letting the user wear their IOTV in a ‘slick’ configuration for situations where armor must be worn but fighting load is not required.
Size Small/Medium RTMAP has 3 rows of 16 channel MOLLE/PALS webbing and is designed to work with the following IOTV sizes: X-Small (NSN 8470-01-551-7640), Small (NSN 8470-01-551-7642), Medium (NSN 8470-01-551-7643), and Medium Long (NSN 8470-01-551-7647).
Size Medium/Large has 3 rows of 18 channel MOLLE/PALS webbing and is designed to work with the following IOTV sizes: Large (NSN 8470-01-551-7648), Large Long (NSN 8470-01-551-7652), X-Large (NSN 8470-01-551-7653), X-Large Long (NSN 8470-01-551-7654), XX-Large (NSN 8470-01-551-7655), XXX-Large (NSN 8470-01-551-7656), and XXXX-Large (NSN 8470-01-551-7658).
