Featuring a green earth-tone color created specifically for Daniel Defense, the Cerakote Deep Woods finish is touted as being more durable than previous Cerakote finishes. The company also says it offers greater abrasion resistance and improved hardness within a thinner application.
This is the third exclusive Cerakote finish Daniel Defense is offering in addition to Mil Spec + and Daniel Defense Tornado.
“We are excited to be working with Cerakote to release Daniel Defense Deep Woods on several of our rifle models,” said Marty Daniel, President/CEO of Daniel Defense. “We debuted the Deep Woods finish on our DDM4A1 rifle at the 2017 NRA show in Atlanta, Georgia, this past spring. The response was very positive not only to the Deep Woods color but also to the look and feel of the Cerakote finish.”
Right now the rifles available in the Cerakote Deep Woods finish include the DDM4V7, DDM4V11, DDM4A1, DD5V1 Keymod, and DD5VR1 M-LOK.
