Rossi Revolvers announced its return today, and it did so in style. Taurus Holdings continues its big shift and reinvestment in all its brands, marked by a renewed effort in better carry and shooting products. The latest revolvers in three different configurations brings Rossi back into the market with a statement. These wheelguns are legit.
Rossi Revolvers Return With Duty, Defender Models
Rossi RP63
The RP63 comprises a carry package. The stainless steel revolver comes chambered in .357 Magnum. It sports a 3-inch barrel and a rounded grip frame to reduce printing. Small enough for deep concealment, the RP63 still carries a full six rounds in the cylinder. It utilizes fixed sights, including a ramped front for a snag-free draw. Each of these wheelguns feature a hammer-mounted firing pin, like the revolvers of old. A match-grade trigger should promote better accuracy.
Rossi RM66
This six-shot revolver also uses the match-grade trigger from the RP63. But a 6-inch barrel and adjustable sights deliver even more capability. This revolver works on the range or ranch, or for duty or competition. A stainless steel design, the RM66 sports a square butt configuration.
Rossi RM64
The RM64 will release later this year, according to Rossi. The medium-frame, 4-inch gun comes chambered in .357 Magnum as well. It should prove handy for carry, hunting, defense and more. It utilizes the same match-grade trigger, along with the adjustable sights found on the RM66.
