LWRCI continues to build on the success of its IC DI (Individual Carbine Direct Impingement) lineup with an offering in 300 BLK. According to the company, the new IC DI 300 BLK rifle came about as the result of a U.S. Military M4 PIP program that called for longer barrel life, full ambidexterity, improved reliability and a user-configurable floating rail system.

Boasting a lot of the same attributes found in LWRCI’s gas piston luxury AR lineup, the IC DI 300 BLK features a Monoforge upper; modular one-piece free float rail; cold hammer-forged 16.1-inch heavy barrel; ambidextrous mag release, bolt catch/release and selector switch; angled ergonomic fore grip with a QD sling attachment point; Mil-Spec 6-position buffer tube; Magpul MOE grip; and LWRCI’s proprietary DI bolt carrier group with a keyless gas key.

The overall length is 32-35.25 inches, and the rifle weighs in at is 6.6 pounds. Like all LWRCI rifles, a California-compliant version is also available.

“Based on the continued popularity of the 300 BLK platform it was a natural line extension for LWRCI and our IC DI line”, says David Ridley, senior vice president sales and marketing. “The LWRCI-DI 300 excels on all counts, offering our customers an accurate advanced DI rifle at a price that will surprise you. It is truly a ‘Step-Up’ from the basic direct impingement rifles on the market now in 300 BLK.”

In addition to the standard black model, the IC DI 300 BLK is available in flat dark earth, OD green, patriot brown, and tungsten grey. The MSRP for the black version is $1,385, while the rest retail for $1,528.
