WASHINGTON— A panel of leading government and industry experts urged president-elect Barack Obama to create a new White House office with a main goal to protect cyberspace from hackers, thieves and foreign agents.  The proposed office will be responsible for coordinating security efforts across U.S. military, intelligence and civilian agencies.
