Interest in all things long-range shooting continues to grow. So more companies seemingly turn out new guns and gear at a high rate. Now Bergara continues its push into precision shooting with the Premier Competition Rifle.

Bergara Premier Competition Rifle

The Bergara Premier Competition Rifle constitutes the company’s most accurate, highest-performing production class PRS-style rifle. Simply pair it with a quality optic, and you’re off and running for PRS with this out-of-the-box ready rifle.

The Premier Competition features a 26-inch #7 profile stainless steel competition Bergara barrel. It comes stiffer, more stable and takes longer to heat up, according to Bergara. It also resists walking impacts as it does heat during competition. The rifle sports a Bergara Premier action. It comes chambered 6mm Creedmoor (1:7.5 twist) or 6.5 Creedmoor (1:8 twist). Above all, the Premier Competition comes fully loaded to compete at a high level.

“As a brand known for our precision barrels, it’s natural for our customers to want to compete with our guns,” said Damon Bungard, Senior Marketing Manager, BPI Outdoors. “We’ve been hearing their requests for a purpose-built platform that addresses the specific needs of competitive shooters, and we wanted to build the best offering we could for Production class PRS style shooters. We’ve teamed up with the best in the business to make the Premier Competition Rifle that win-win reality.”

The Premier Competition also comes with the Acra-Swiss rail for easy, fast adjustments. The three-in-one rail utilizes a screw hole for common camera tripod adaptors. It also enables shooters to easily slide the gun back and forth. For Picatinny bipod users, the system proves seamless for mounting and adjustment.

Bergara’s Trigger Tech partnership presents a patented Frictionless Release Technology. The system increases performance and accuracy for the end-user, according to Bergara. It eliminates creep and heavy trigger pulls.

The Bergara Premier Competition retails for $2,499. Fore even more info, please visit bergarausa.com.
