With a reputation for quality and dependability, Beretta has supplied firearms for law enforcement, military and home defense for generations. In a recent addition to their semi-automatic shotgun series, Beretta announces the enhanced 1301 Tactical Shotgun, a high-capacity lightweight solution.
The Beretta 1301 Tactical Shotgun
Keeping the end user in mind Beretta focused on reliability and ease of use, including the enlarged controls. Additionally, the oversized charging handle ensures a positively chambered round with every use. Also, the large, texturized bolt release and reversible safety provide easy manipulation, regardless of the conditions. The forend features aggressive checkering, thus ensuring a positive grip, even without gloves.
The 1301 Tactical Shotgun features a high-capacity magazine tube, that holds 7+1 2.75-inch shells or 6+1 3-inch shells. The 1301 also features a custom barrel clamp with integral M-Lok slots and QD socket. As a result, the shotgun offers an attachment point for accessories.
The 1301 features a cold hammer-forged, back-bored barrel, chambered in 12-guage. Consequently, the muzzle flip is greatly reduced because the recoil dissipates away from the shooter’s body. Beretta’s ultrafast BLINK gas operating system features a cross tube gas piston. For this reason, the 1301 cycles 36% faster than its competition, according to Beretta.
Riding atop the barrel is a robust, protected ghost-ring sight system with interchangeable front sight. However, if you would prefer to choose your own optics, the 1301 features a short picatinny rail.
The 1301 Tactical Shotgun is available with a standard stock or the optional Mesa Tactical Urbino pistol grip stock. Also, the interchangeable choke system provides maximum flexibility to the shooters specific needs.
The Beretta 1301 Tactical Shotgun is available now, with an MSRP of $1,429.00 – $1,449.00, depending on options. For more info, please visit Beretta.com.
