Wiley X Eyewear® has introduced two new tactical eyewear systems that combine the company’s battlefield-proven ballistic protection with advanced light adjusting lenses designed to rapidly respond to changes in ambient light. With these new models — the Wiley X SG-1 and Wiley X XL-1 — tactical field operators can perform with full confidence that their eyes are protected and their vision will stay eagle-sharp under changing conditions.
Both of these new systems are U.S. Mil-PRF-31013 VO Ballistic Impact certified. They also meet stringent ANSI Z87.1-2003 High Velocity Impact safety and optical standards. Both feature new matte black frames made of heat resistant material designed to protect eyes from wind, sun, glare and fragmentation. The two systems are designed to easily convert from ballistic eyewear to tactical goggle and are NVG (Night Vision Goggle) compatible. The Wiley X SG-1 (Model 71) is Authorized Protective Eyewear List (APEL) approved. Visit www.wileyx.com for more information.
