The proliferation of long-range shooting continues, with new products designed specifically for the sport coming out at a rapid pace. Now Rival Arms releases its new ST-3X Precision Rifle Stock, designed specifically for bolt-action, chassis rifles.
Rival Arms ST-3X Precision Rifle Stock Details
Many precision rifle chassis systems utilize a bugger tube-style attachment based on the AR-15 platform. While a great modular system, it doesn’t always accommodate all bolt-action needs. Conversely, the ST-3X stock uses the same mounting system. But the purpose-built stock utilizes a narrow profile. It uses an adjustable cheek riser that passes through the stock. This system remains impossible to achieve with typical AR-15 stocks, according to Rival Arms.
The ST-3X Precision Stock comes with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. It weighs a mere 28 ounces, machined from billet aluminum. Shooters can adjust both comb height and length of pull. Meanwhile, the recoil pad adjusts vertically and cants to better fit the shoulder pocket. Finally, it also reverses to fit shooters of all sizes.

The machined aluminum frame includes a downward-facing M-LOK slot for monopods or Picatinny rail sections. Ambidextrous flush cups machined into the stock provide quick-detach sling attachment points. The ST-3x installs onto any chassis with a 1-3/16″-16 thread. It locks into place with an included castle nut. An anti-rotation set screw allows builders to properly set the alignment before fully tightening the castle nut.
The ST-3X retails for $236.99. For more information, visit rival-arms.com.
