Gear maker Vertx has announced a new tactical glove line designed for professional use. There are four gloves in this series: the VaporCore Shooter, Rapid LT, FR Assaulter and FR Breacher.
Vertx Tactical Gloves
All four Vertx tactical gloves share some common features. These include articulated pre-curved fingers for enhanced dexterity, comfort and functionality for the wearer. In addition, hook and loop closures around the wrist ensure the glove stays in place.
Meanwhile, all the gloves boast double needle topstitch reinforcement in keys areas, which the company says maximizes their life span. Furthermore, the gloves use natural goatskin sueded to mimic human skin, providing a better sense of touch. The middle finger and thumb also have conductive touchpoints that allow the wearer to easily use smartphones and tablets.
That’s what the gloves have in common. However, they each also have unique features. The VaporCore glove has active particles embedded in its fabric that enables it to dry five times faster than regular gloves. It also keeps the wearer’s hand cool. The Rapid LT glove sports a lightweight design, pairing the suede with two-day fabric for free range of motion. The glove also has color fastness, meaning it retains its original color after prolonged use. The FR Assaulter and FR Breacher are both flame-resistant with Kevlar thread knitted throughout. The FR Breacher also offers knuckle protection from harsh environments and use.
“With more than 175 years of experience in the military and tactical world, we combined expertise and research to develop a new line of gloves that would meet our standard of quality, provide superior functionality and address some of the top needs expressed by today’s customer base,” Justin Roberts, Vertx’s Brand Manager, said in a press release.
Here’s the pricing for these Vertx tactical gloves: $52.95 for the VaporCore Shooter model, $54.95 for Rapid LT, $69.96 for FR Assaulter and $78.95 for FR Breacher.
