Advanced Technology International (ATI) has been developed some truly cutting-edge stock, grip and forend upgrades for rifles, shotguns and pistols for years now. With the ever-increasing popularity of the AR platform, it makes sense that the company would continue producing products to take plain Jane ARs to the next level, so for 2015 the company has released its new TactLite AR-15 stock.
Available for both commercial and mil-spec buffer tubes, the six-position-adjustable TactLite stock weighs only 5.85 ounces. It features ATI’s new TrakLOCK system, which helps eliminate horizontal and vertical movement of the stock on the buffer tube while providing smooth, secure stock adjustments. In essence, it eliminates the need for secondary locking mechanisms.
Made from DuPont glass-reinforced polymer, the TactLite is designed to be completely snag free. It won’t interfere with charging handles, and it features a thin Scorpion recoil pad to help absorb some of your rifle’s recoil and keep the gun in position on your shoulder. It features an ambidextrous QD sling attachment point as well as a slot for a tactical sling. The TactLite stock is available on its own or with a buffer tube kit. It’s all made in the U.S.A. and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
