Barska is more known for its optics than anything else — see the impressive Reticle Electro Sight and the Blackhawk Binoculars as references — but the optics manufacturer has a few tactical tricks up its sleeve as well.
Barska’s new VX-200 Tactical Vest, a part of its “Loaded Gear” line, allows for an overwhelming about of storage while remaining size-adjustable to each user.
The VX-200 is designed to fit most adult body types, with adjustable shoulder panels and side straps for a custom fit. Ladder buckles on each side of the vest allow for quicker adjustment for a customized fit.
The tough mesh webbing of the VX-200 is designed for maximum ventilation and durability. One-inch heavy duty back webbing system allows for the carry of additional gear, while front and back velcro areas allow for the attaching of patches.
The VX-200 features a reinforced rescue pull handle located on the upper back of vest for dragging injured personnel out of harm’s way.
Two large internal zippered pockets for available for additional items such as documents and maps.
The interior back mesh pocket of the VX-200 comes with a velcro closure. This back mesh pocket is ideal for a hydration system (bladder not included) that allows an access port routing a drink tube between layers of the vest to either the right or left shoulder. The D-rings located on either shoulder allow routing and storage of the drink tube and bite valve. D-rings can also be used for attaching accessories or a sling harness.
Additional features of the VX-200 include a padded sniper shoulder, a radio/phone pouch, four rifle magazine pouches, three handgun magazine pouches, elastic shotgun shell holders and a quick-draw holster.
Normally retailing for $125, the VX-200 Tactical Vest is currently on sale for $59.99. The vest is available for right-handed shooters only with the left-handed model set to be released soon.
