Fantastic, and fantastic. That’s how I describe Tactical Response’s Fighting Rifle and Advanced Fighting Rifle classes and the performance of Land Warfare Resources Company’s (LWRC) M6A2 rifle that I used. I knew that the classes would be intense by the list of required items, which included 3,500 rounds of rifle and 750 rounds of pistol ammunition.
I decided the anticipated high level of intensity would be the perfect place to put a LWRC piston rifle through its paces and see if their piston design lived up to the claims of running cleaner, cooler, and more reliably. I have shot several of LWRC’s rifles and had been impressed with their performance. This class gave me an opportunity to push the LWRC further and harder than I had previously.
