Tactical Night Vision Company — a California-based, veteran-owned company that manufactures night vision and related tactical gear to the military, law enforcement and civilian markets — is introducing the Gen2 TNV/PVS-14 night vision monocular, brand new for 2014. Check out the video below for more information about the Gen2 PVS-14.

Building on the massive success of the Gen3 PVS-14 line, the highly-anticipated new PVS-14 system comes with a Gen2 image intensifier tube, which is not as susceptible to recoil impulse as the Gen3 tubes. This provides greater recoil capability for the end user. While additional details on the forthcoming Gen2 PVS-14 night vision monocular are scant, this new product will cost roughly $1,000 less than the Gen3 series, which currently ranges from $3,158.00 — $3,627.00. TNVC is currently in the process of building this brand new system. A release date has not yet been set.

Consumers can rest assured that the Gen2 PVS-14 will be built with the same high-quality standards as all other products from Tactical Night Vision Company.

“Our core foundation is night vision and its tactical application,” their official website states. “Our company is made up of former and current Warfighters and Law Enforcement Professionals who understand what it means to have dependable gear when going into harm’s way. TNVC does not compromise when it comes to bringing you the best equipment available! What sets us apart is our understanding of your needs as professionals.
