Hosted by ADS, Inc., Warrior Expo East is a yearly tradeshow held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. For 2014, more than 240 industry partners in the fields of tactical gear, medical equipment, weapons, vehicles and more exhibited their wares to thousands of end-users from the military, law enforcement and first response fields.

Additionally, select members of industry attend the event, which is also replicated each May in San Diego (Warrior Expo West). These locations correspond with the largest concentrations of military organizations on each coast.

Here are some notable products showcased at Warrior Expo East 2014, which took place between July 10 and 11.

Global Defense Initiatives P-ROM L-Model

Global Defense Initiatives’ P-ROM L-Model is a telescopic scope mount designed for any rifle with a top Picatinny rail. Featuring a proprietary dual auto-locking system, the P-ROM secures to the host rifle using compression, rather than friction as with most common mounts, which reduces the wear on the host rifle. The P-ROM can be adjusted to work with worn or out-of-spec rails with only the use of a flathead screwdriver. An optional Modular Adapter Plate System (MAPS) allows the user to attach a Trijicon RMR, Aimpoint Micro or Insight MRDS/Docter RDS to the P-ROM to one of four offset positions for close-range target acquisition, with support for more RDS models to follow. The P-ROM is available with ring diameters of 30mm and 34mm with 0-MOA and 25-MOA base cants.
