After Paul Tashjian of HALO (High Accuracy Low Operation) Arms invited me to examine and shoot his HA 50 FTR (Field Tactical Rifle) in caliber .50BMG, I learned how to accurately shoot a light .50-caliber rifle.
Before getting to this, I should point out that the HA 50 FTR’s purpose is to provide a more, to overuse the phrase, “user-friendly” .50BMG chambered rifle, having been designed to be used to quickly and accurately engage targets from 25 to 700 yards. Potential end-users are the sporting and the law enforcement/military communities.
