Since SIG Sauer won the coveted MHS contract, new variations based on the P320 platform continue to emerge. As such, a cottage industry of accessories is growing as well, soon to potentially rival mainstays such as the Glock 17, 1911 or AR-15. Galco becomes the latest with the release of the VHS 4.0.

Galco 4.0 VHS System

The VHS, or Vertical Holster System, accommodates the SIG Sauer P320F/M17 family of pistols. It works with or without pistols equipped with red dot sights.

The holster design saw use already in far away theaters such as Afghanistan. The VHS 4.0 brings re-contoured shoulder straps for comfort and concealment. It includes a new harness fastener system, tie-down system and spare ammo carrier for revolver fits.

The four-point harness pivots independently, connected by a clover-shaped Flexalon swivel back plate. It helps deliver a better fit and all-day comfort. A new tool-free harness fastener system offers better security, ease of assembly and reduces chance of fastener loss, according to Galco.

The system includes a vertical holster, harness, double-ammo carrier, tie-downs and harness fasteners. Fully modular, the VHS 4.0 it works with interchangeable accessories and components. The VHS 4.0 retails for $259. For more information, visit galcoholsters.com.
