Hogue Inc.’s selection of knives is as impressive as it is extensive. With it comes the addition of three new automatic knives to its popular line of American-made manual folding knives.

The new autos are spring-loaded versions of Hogue’s EX-01, EX-03 and EX-04 Tactical Folding Knives, all of which feature a robust button lock and a 3.5-inch 154 CM hardened steel blade.

The key to the Hogue auto knife’s reliability and performance, explained Bruhns, is its proprietary music wire spring, developed specifically for Hogue Knives by famed spring maker Wolff Gunsprings.

Hogue conducted extensive reliability tests for the new auto knives including cycle tests in excess of 10,000 blade deployments for each auto knife design.

The Hogue Knives EX-A01 auto knife is available with aluminum handles in Matte Black at an MSRP of $249.95. G-10 scaled versions come in your choice of G-Mascus Black or G-Mascus Green for $269.95. Blade choices include Tanto or Drop Point with a black finish.

Hogue’s EX-A03 auto knife features a one-piece high density polymer handle in Matte Black or Flat Dark Earth and your choice of Drop Point or Tanto black finish blades for $209.95.

The Hogue EX-A04 sports an ergonomic 3D-contoured G-10 handle in Solid Black, G-Mascus Red Lava, G-Mascus Blue Lava or G-Mascus Black Gray and your choice of a modified Wharncliffe or Upswept-style black finish blade at an MSRP of $269.95.
