Liberty Ammunition has announced a new high-velocity, 55-grain, monolithic, copper, fragmenting hollow point in .223 Remington. The new load exits the muzzle at approximately 3,000 fps and delivers about 1,100 foot-pounds of muzzle energy to the target. When the bullet impacts, it separates into several large fragments that disperse to form several wound tracks. This load should be of interest to those who are concerned about collateral damage due to overpenetration of the target. For more information, visit libertyammunition.com.
