Merit Corporation has introduced the new V.I.A. (Variable Iris Aperture) sight for the AR-15/A2 rifle. The new V.I.A. offers 11 instant, positive click aperture settings that range from .022 to .125 inches.
The new V.I.A. is designed to increase the shooter’s depth of field, bringing your front sight and target into clear focus and provides a clean, simple sight picture with a “deep well” effect.
The Merit V.I.A. comes in two models – Standard and National Match. The Standard model includes the V.I.A., a ½ minute flip aperture and a lock nut. The National Match model includes the V.I.A., a ¼ minute windage screw (56 TPI), a ¼ minute flip aperture and a lock nut. Either V.I.A. can be removed at any time, easily returning your rifle to the standard A2 sight setup.
The Merit V.I.A., like all Merit products, is precision hand crafted in the U.S.A. For more information on this and other Merit Corporation products, visit www.meritcorporation.com
