Designed for riflemen who really want to reach out to game and other targets, the Burris 3-15x50mm Veracity scope features a first-focal-plane Ballistic Plex E1 reticle with trajectory-compensating technology and cascading dots for wind drift compensation when using nearly any big-game hunting cartridge. The 50mm objective allows for maximum light transmission, and the versatile magnification range provides a larger field of view at close ranges and better target acquisitions at long ranges.
Leupold has redesigned its Gold Ring spotting scope line to offering enhanced ruggedness and a reticle matched to the company’s riflescope offerings. The company has added the new Impact Reticle in the 12-40x60mm HD and the 20-80x60mm models. This MOA-based, first-focal-plane reticle allows guides or spotters to call impacts and offer immediate corrections. The scopes have also been given a new, durable armor coating, and the Folded Light Path system significantly reduces their overall lengths.
A larger-capacity variant of the proven PMAG 5 7.62 AC, the PMAG 10 7.62 AC is a reliable and durable polymer magazine for .308 Winchester-based cartridges. Compatible with short-action AICS-spec bottom metal, the PMAG 10 7.62 AC brings additional capacity in an affordable and reliable package. Featuring Gen M3 technology, a paint-pen dot matrix for visual identification and a flared baseplate for positive control and easy retrieval, the PMAG 10 7.62 AC sets a new standard for bolt-action magazines.
Sig Sauer has fully entered the premium ammunition market with some outstanding defensive loads. In the rifle category, the company has just released a new .308 Winchester load as part of its Match Grade rifle ammunition line. This load uses a 168-grain Sierra MatchKing (SMK) bullet with an Open-Tip Match (OTM) design for maximum expansion and a muzzle velocity of 2,700 fps. The propellant used is designed to maintain stability and consistent performance across temperature extremes and environments.
The NOXs handguard from Seekins Precision is designed as a lightweight, slim-profile forend. The 1.5-inch-wide NOXs handguard weighs less than 10 ounces (including mounting hardware) and offers features such as integrated sling mounts, a continuous, skeletonized top rail design, anti-rotation tabs and a patent-pending Cross-Lok weapon mounting system. NOXs handguards are available in 9-, 12.8- and 15-inch lengths with either KeyMod or M-LOK mounting systems.
Designer Colin Despins has created yet another weapon for TOPS Knives that is both stylish and deadly. The TAC-TOPS Karambit was designed for a member of a highly elite unit with specific needs. The oversized finger hole was vital since its intended user wears various gloves based on location and climate. The knife’s length is unprecedented by other karambits, yet the blade still allows for close-quarters fighting. The spine of the knife and the end of the finger hole can both be used for striking an attacker.
The new Aurora chronograph from Traser, a Swiss watch company, features the unique Trigalight self-activated illumination technology, which consists of tiny, airtight glass capillaries lined with phosphorescent powder. This system glows without an electrical current from a battery or recharging. The glass tube sets on the dial have an outer diameter of 0.3mm (corresponding to the diameter of five hairs) and an inner diameter of 0.1mm. The case is made of stainless steel, and it has a rotating bezel with a sapphire crystal.
TruGlo has brought its TFX (Tritium Fiber-Optic Xtreme) Pro technology to Remington shotguns. With this set, tritium and fiber-optic elements combine to create a dot that glows in any lighting condition and even complete darkness. The tritium and fiber-optic inserts are encased in a virtually indestructible chemical- and shock-resistant, hermetically- sealed capsule. A white Focus-Lock ring also adds contrast to the front sight. The rear sight mounts in place of the factory sight, maintaining the full range of adjustments.
