Nano technology means small, and that fits the innovative Beretta Nano, a Micro Compact .40 S&W that brings the most popular law enforcement cartridge in America down to pocket carry dimensions. The Nano incorporates a separate fire control sub chassis that contains frame rails, trigger, and striker-firing system in a removable module that IS “the gun,” for all intents and legal purposes. This will allow Beretta to offer interchangeable grip frames in optional colors, backstrap sizes and to incorporate other technologies that may include an integrated laser. Dovetailed white dot sights are also easily changed or adjusted using a standard 1.3mm hex wrench. The polymer grip frame helps reduce the Nano’s carry weight to a mere 17.67 ounces With a 3.07 inch barrel, the Nano’s overall length is 5.63 inches, width .90 inches and height a scant 4.17 inches. The striker-fired pistol utilizes an integral trigger safety and packs 6 rounds plus one in the chamber. Also available in 9mm. Suggested retail is $475. Visit beretta.com.

Advanced Armament Company
Like other companies, AAC has had a record year. Their newest suppressor is the SR7—a multi-use suppressor that is designed for short barrel hosts that are 7.62 (.308) caliber and smaller. It is ideal for a 10-inch 5.56mm, a 12-inch 7.62x51mm or a standard .308 bolt-action rifle. Given the inherent erosion issues with short-barrel rifles, the SR7 features a fully welded, all Inconel baffle core that is engineered to reduce back-pressure. The 90T Ratchet Taper Mount ensures a solid interface and minimum shift on the point of impact. For more information, visit advanced-armament.com.
Delta P Design
While visiting with the folks at Primary Weapons Systems, we took note of the Delta P Design Brevis 5.56 Compact suppressor. The Brevis Compact is only 3.8 inches in length and 2 inches in diameter. The larger diameter gives the Brevis Compact a greater volume than comparable compact 5.56 suppressors. As a result, the back-pressure is reduced enabling short-barrel carbines, especially those with barrels shorter than 10.5 inches to run more reliably both with and without a suppressor. The unit also ideal for the FN 5.7. For more information, visit deltapdesign.com.
Silencerco introduced their long-awaited rifle suppressor, the.5.56 Saker. The Saker features a new Hoplon baffle that is specifically shaped to reduce erosion and increase the life of the unit. Silencerco designed a proprietary three-prong adaptor / flash hider called the Trifecta RS. The adaptor allows the suppressor to index in the same position to minimize any shift in the point of impact. However, what makes the Saker revolutionary is the Multiple Attachment Device that allows user to use the Saker with existing mounts such at the AAC Blackout. For more information, visit silencerco.com.
When Silencerco purchased SWR, good things were bound to happen. The Octane 9 has been redesigned with a new Click Together Assembly baffle stack. The CTA design completely encapsulates the baffles and prevents the debris from reaching the suppressor tube. The baffles are machined from 17-4 stainless steel for durability and easy maintenance and cleaning. The new Octane 9 HD is rated for full-auto 9mm as well as .300 Blackout / Whisper. Equally at home on a Sig 226, an MP5, or a M4 in .300 Blackout, the Octane 9 HD may be one of the most versatile suppressor on the market today. For more information, visit swrsuppressors.com.
Tactical-Life.com was the first member of the press to get a preview of the new Tactical Solutions .22 suppressor. While yet to be named, the new model follows the trend and is fully user-serviceable unit and features 8 modified “K” baffles. Both the baffles and the outer tube are Titanium. The baffle assembly fits inside a one-piece stainless steel protective sleeve that is then inserted into the outer tube. The sleeve captures the debris both protects the outer tube and makes disassembly easier than their current model. According to the company, the new design is approximately 6 dB quieter than the Cascade model. For more information, visit tacticalsol.com.

Brite-Strike Technology’s Tactical Balls RID-3
Tactical Balls RID-3 means “Rolling Illuminated Distraction and Disorientation Device,” and were developed for use by police officers with no specialized training when they need something unusual to distract bad guys from law-enforcement personnel. These devices are small, lightweight, water- and shock-resistant, and concentric and weighted. This ensures they will wobble and spin around when rolled or tossed into a room, and then land lighted-side up to backlight the bad guy. These are not designed to replace flash-bang devices—the company rates them a 2 on a scale of 0 to 10, compared to a 10 for a flash-bang device—but they’re still better than nothing. They really shine when police need to raid a meth lab or area with flammable materials. Contact Brite Strike Technologies Inc. at 508-746-8701 or visit brite-strike.com.

The Guardian TS captures ammo up to the 7.62 NATA cartridge for rifles, and has an opening that’s sized to fit pistols with weapon-mounted sights. It’s mobile and free-standing, while its hinged cover keeps out debris and precipitation. Contact InRange Supplies at 877-423-1785 or visit inrangesupplies.com.
