It’s pretty easy to take for granted… the first time… and after more than 30 SHOT Shows this writer has learned the importance of sturdy footwear on the show floor. The same holds true if you’re trying to get “off the X” in a tactical situation. Check out these tactical boots that made their debut in Vegas.

M-04 Treker

Picking M-04’s new Airstep Army’s 5700 BRAVO 10 anti-puncture tactical boots are a step in the right direction. Its 1.8mm leather and Cordura 1000 boot combines breathable 3D Nylon fabrics, rubber and EVA bi-component outsole for shock absorption and non-slip traction. It features a half-inch thick anatomical anti-puncture Aramid insole, and is lined for sweat absorption. It’s got 1,000,000 undamaged push-ups resistance (EN 12568/10), and 247-pound perforation resistance according to ABNT NBR ISO 20344/08.
Shaft height from the outsole is 4 1/2 inches. Weight is 506 grams for size 8.5 USA, and it’s available in sizes 5 to 13 1/2 USA. Color choice is coyote, desert tan and  black. Looks they’ll sell in the $110 to $115 range on Amazon.
