Tyrant Designs has announced the release of an innovative new forward vertical grip, the AR-15 HALO MiniVert.

The HALO MiniVert boasts a slight angle and superior ergonomics that enable you to shoot with confidence. Its lower lip extension lets you hold the grip either traditionally or by tucking the pinky behind. Meanwhile, an aggressive side knurl on its lower portions allows for effective yaw control when operating the firearm. Its chamfered edges provide a smooth feel for the end user, while chamfered holes allow for finger placement inside.

Another advantage of the HALO MiniVert is its small dimensions. According to the product page, it weighs in at just 2.5 oz, has a length of 2.75″ and a width of .800″. This grip makes your rifle more compact, less susceptible to snagging and keeps weight down if you’re working with a lightweight build. Oh, did we mention it’s directly compatible with both M-LOK and KeyMod rail systems?

“This concept took months of designing and field testing to make it as comfortable as possible while maintaining our well known aggressive styling,” the company said in a statement. “It truly is a vertical grip that can be used in all situations on various platforms to heighten the performance of the operator. We are pleased with how it came out and look forward to seeing it on AR’s everywhere.”

Beadblasted and Type III hardcoat anodized, the durable, all-aluminum HALO MiniVert Grip is available from Tyrant Designs at a suggested retail price of $49.95. Included with the purchase are M-Lok and/or Keymod fasteners and two L-keys.
